For the Nordeus workspace, we collaborated with Jump Studios to create an open, transparent, and flexible working environment for more than 170 employees. By rethinking both the visitor journey and internal circulation, the project supports collaboration, wellbeing, and a healthy work/life balance, while responding to the dynamic nature of Nordeus’ working culture.
The concept is rooted in adaptability and openness. In addition to flexibility, each floor was conceived with a distinct color identity, used as a dominant visual theme to create atmosphere, improve orientation, and give each level its own character within the overall workspace.
The layout is organized vertically, with each floor structured around its primary functions and unified by a dominant color palette. The ground floor functions as a central social and event hub, including a large multi-purpose 200-seat auditorium with an adjoining café and restaurant, enabling Nordeus to host internal gatherings, all-staff meetings, and gaming competitions, as well as external events.
Flexibility was a key design driver throughout the project. Movable partitions allow teams to adjust work areas according to their needs, while a network of informal breakout spaces and meeting booths supports both focused work and spontaneous collaboration.
Employee wellbeing played an important role in shaping the workspace. The office includes a gym, yoga studio, music and gaming rooms, and a soft play area for children. Creative expression is supported through a maker’s space and a dedicated messy room for workshops and hands-on activities.
Most of the furniture and fittings were sourced locally, with bespoke elements crafted by local tradespeople. The project was delivered on time and within budget, reflecting a collaborative and efficient design process.
