This office space near the Port of Belgrade was designed for a Belgrade-based creative agency. The interior is conceived as an open and dynamic environment where the existing structure of the building is kept visible. Concrete columns, beams, and exposed ceiling installations remain an important part of the space, forming a strong industrial background. Functional units are introduced as independent elements, creating a modular layout that coexists with the building’s raw character.
The design concept is based on the idea of togetherness, which plays an important role in the daily work of a small creative company. A comfortable and welcoming atmosphere was created to support communication, collaboration, and informal meetings. Shared spaces, such as the kitchen with a dining area and zones for socializing and relaxation, form the heart of the office and encourage interaction among employees.
The offices are enclosed with glass partitions, ensuring visual openness while maintaining functional separation. An atypical seating arrangement, where employees are positioned back to back, allows for the creation of individual zones within a shared space. Each workstation is complemented by wall-mounted shelves, enabling personal organization and customization.
Shared areas are defined by strong visual expression and the use of intense, clean colors that bring energy and freshness into the interior. These elements create a clear contrast with the neutral tones of the concrete structure. In contrast, workspaces remain understated and flexible.
A key feature of the interior is the cylindrical conference room, which gently integrates into the open layout without dominating the space. Its form supports an auditorium-like concept, enhanced by a semi-circular bench that provides additional seating and flexibility for meetings and presentations.
